COMMUNITY ADVISORY - Arrest Made of Juvenile with BB Gun

On November 20, 2009, at approximately 3:30 p.m., Takoma Park Police responded to the 7500 block of Maple Avenue for reports of a subject with a gun. The subject had brandished and pointed the gun at two victims. A look out was given for the subject, who was later apprehended at the bus stop at Maple Avenue and Grant Avenue. The 15 year old male juvenile, who resides in Takoma Park, was arrested and charged with 1st and 2nd degree assault and possession of a firearm and transported to the NOYES juvenile facility. The weapon, a BB gun, was recovered. No one was injured.
