Very heavy rainfall Sunday night may initiate severe FLASH FLOODING with 3" of rainfall possible.
The National Weather Service has issued a FLASH FLOOD WATCH for Montgomery County from Sunday afternoon until Monday morning. 1" per hour rainfall rates possible tomorrow night and these rates will have the potential to cause severe and unexpected flash flooding within the next 24 hours.
Flash Floods kill more people every year than any other weather hazard. Do not drive through flooded areas. As little as 2 feet of water can sweep a vehicle off the road. Please remain alert for any warnings.
