Flooding and possible tornado threat beginning to develop over the region. Additional watches and warnings possible.
The National Weather Service has issued a FLASH FLOOD WARNING for Montgomery County until 4:15pm. At 1:30pm Doppler radar indicated a line of storms approaching the county that will be capable of producing flooding rains. Radar indicated 1.5" has already fallen in some areas with additional rainfall possible.
Residents should expect extremely heavy rain that will flood low lying areas, and streets with slow drainage. Do not try to cross flooded roads. Flooded areas may be harder to identify at night. Use caution while driving.
