Theft from Auto - Community Advisory

On September 25, 2010, Takoma Park Police responded to the 6700 block of Poplar Avenue for reports of a theft from auto. The vehicle had been parked in front of the victim’s residence on September 24, 2010, at approximately 8:00 p.m. When he returned on September 25, 2010, at 8:00 a.m., the window had been smashed out and property was taken. It is believed that this theft from auto is linked to the one that occurred at the intersection of Elm Avenue and Allegheny Avenue (case #10047549). There is no suspect information.

Investigation continues under case #10047551. Anyone with information about these crimes is asked to please call us at 301.270.1100.
