The vehicle was located in the 1000 block of Otis Street, N.E., Washington, D.C. by Metropolitan Police Department (MPD). Two juveniles have been arrested by MPD in connection with the auto theft.


On January 12, 2011, at approximately 11:10 a.m., Takoma Park Police responded to the 900 block of Anne Street, Takoma Park, Maryland, for reports of a stolen auto. The victim indicated her gray 2010 Acura RDX vehicle (tag #MD37458M1) was stolen from her driveway that was left running briefly unattended. A witness recalls seeing a suspicious unknown subject in all black clothing wearing a hood on Cole Avenue walking towards Anne Street just before the theft. The victim’s vehicle was seen driving away on Cole Avenue away from Anne Street.

The vehicle has been entered into the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) stolen vehicle database and a statewide lookout has been released by Takoma Park Police Department. Investigation continues under case #11001883. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to please call us at 301.270.1100.
