T1 Beat:
Burglary-Residential
7800 block of Takoma Ave., on Tuesday, January 18 at 5:02 p.m., a female victim was home alone when she heard knocking at the door of her residence. She stated she saw black males looking into her windows and then heard loud banging coming from the side kitchen door as the suspects kicked in the door. The victim screamed and the suspects fled. Officers were able to take into custody two males 15 and 17.
6700 block of Eastern Ave., on Wednesday, January 19 at 3:55 p.m., unknown suspect(s) shattered a back patio door and cut two window screens in an attempt to enter a residence but were unsuccessful. No property taken.

Auto Theft
6400 block of 5th Ave., on Sunday, January 16 at 1:30 a.m., three male suspects exited a white sports car and stole a 2000 Dodge Durango then fled the scene. Officers gave chase with negative results. The stolen Dodge Durango was recovered unoccupied and running at the intersection of Cockerville Ave. and Highland Ave. with a punched door lock and ignition.
Larceny
8000 block of Sligo Creek, on Saturday, January 15 at 8:40 a.m., unknown suspect(s) entered the victims’ unattached garage and stole a bike.

Robbery
1000 block of University Blvd., on Wednesday, January 19 at 7:18 p.m., two suspects entered the business, one armed with a black handgun, and demanded money from the clerk. The victim complied and the suspects fled in an unknown direction.
Assault
500 block of Belford Pl., Monday, January 17 at 12:15 a.m., a male 33 was arrested for aggravated assault.
Auto Theft
1000 block of University Blvd., Friday, January 14 at 5:36 a.m., a male victim reported that his car was stolen on 11/26/2010 after finding it out it was not towed.
Larceny-From Auto
6700 block of Conway Ave., between Friday, January 14 at 8:30 p.m., and Saturday, January 15 at 12:00 a.m., an unknown suspect(s) entered an unlocked vehicle and stole property.
500 block of Lincoln Ave., between Friday, January 14 at 5:30 p.m., and Saturday, January 15 at 9:30 a.m., unknown suspect(s) stole property from an unlocked vehicle.
Arrests:
7500 block of New Hampshire Ave., on Monday, January 17 at 11:03 a.m., a male 35 was arrested after being stopped for a suspended registration and possessing forged documents.
7400 block of New Hampshire Ave., on Sunday, January 16 at 3:00 p.m., two males both 19 were arrested for possession of marijuana.
1300 block of University Blvd., on Saturday, January 15 at 9:09 p.m., two males 41 and 25 were arrested for possession of cocaine and trespassing.
8100 block of Lockney Ave., on Saturday, January 15 at 1:38 a.m., a male 21 was arrested for damaging property after hitting several parked cars.
Unit block of Belford Pl., on Friday, January 14 at 3:06 a.m., a male 38 was arrested for driving under the influence.
