Sign up for the Citizens' Police Academy! The course is designed to educate citizens on the required duties and obligations of a police officer, and it will provide a glimpse into all aspects of the City’s police department that make it run smoothly on a daily basis. The academy will commence on October 6, 2011 from 7-9:30 pm, each Thursday night, for ten (10) consecutive weeks. Sessions will be held at the Takoma Park Community Center and there is no cost to participate. The deadline for registration is August 31, 2011 - but don't delay! Seats are filling up quickly.
