I want to thank all of our residents, City employees, elected officials and National Night Out participants for making last night’s National Night Out our most successful one yet. A special thanks to Governor Martin O’Malley who chose Takoma Park to visit. We were one of only three departments in the State he visited.
Last night was successful because so many of you took the time to be a part of a very special event. Citizens and Police working together is a recipe for successful crime reduction. Our City and Police Department stood out last night. Thank you again for making this happen.
