On September 26, 2011, at approximately 7:19 a.m., Takoma Park Police responded to the 7400 block of Holly Avenue for reports of a burglary that had just occurred. The victims’ observed a black Mazda 3 Hatchback vehicle with Maryland tags parked in front of their home. They observed two black males walking from the direction of the open garage of their residence which is located to the rear of the residence. The suspects were carrying property from the victims’ garage. When the victim yelled, the suspects entered the referenced vehicle and fled towards Eastern Avenue. Prior to this date, on September 20, 2011, the victims’ pick-up truck, which was parked in their driveway, had been broken into and several tools were stolen.
The suspects are described as:
Black male, 5’11, 20-30 years old, short dreads, last seen wearing dark pants (possibly blue jeans), dark t-shirt, and baseball cap.
Black male, 5’8, 20-30 years old, last seen wearing dark pants (possibly blue jeans), and white t-shirt.
