Prince George’s County Police are currently investigating incidents with several shots fired near Hillwood Manor Park in Prince George’s County in the area of Elson Street. An unknown suspect is reportedly firing rounds off at random and leaving the shell casings behind. The shooting incidents bear resemblance to the calls Takoma Park Police received on September 14th regarding shots fired around Lockney Avenue, where shell casings were also recovered. A possible suspect vehicle is described as a dark green or black mini sports utility vehicle (SUV) that was seen fleeing the area after shots were fired.
This is a joint investigation between the Prince George’s County Police and Takoma Park Police.
