Theft from Auto - Community Advisory

On September 30, 2011 at approximately 12:00 a.m., Takoma Park Police responded to the 300 block of Grant Avenue for the report of a theft from auto that was in progress. Two suspects were seen inside the vehicle having entered it through an unlocked front passenger door. Property was taken. The suspects fled before police arrived. Because it had just occurred, a K-9 search was conducted, however, with negative results. A canvass of the area was also conducted with negative results.
