On October 6, 2011, at approximately 1:22 a.m., Takoma Park Police responded to the 8200 block of Roanoke Avenue for reports of a residential burglary. The victim arrived home to find the front door ajar. After entering the residence, the victim observed two male subjects in his residence trying to flee through the bedroom window. The victim became involved in a physical altercation with the first subject while the second subject fled through the window. The first subject then fled from the residence to the 600 block of Houston Avenue. A K-9 track was conducted which led to the parking lot of the 8200 block of Houston Court where items of evidentiary value were located. Another track was conducted from that location, however, it ended with negative results.
The first subject is described as a black male, 18-20 years old, 6’0-6’2, 150-165 lbs., shoulder length hair (with twists), tattoos up and down both of his arms, and last seen wearing all black clothing and carrying a black/yellow backpack.
The second subject is described as a black male, 18-20 years old, 6’0-6’2, 150-165 lbs., shoulder length hair (with twists), tattoos up and down both of his arms, and last seen wearing all black clothing.
Property was taken. Investigation continues under case #11049439.
