Chief Ronald A. Ricucci of the Takoma Park Police Department announces the arrest of Lori Webb, 39, of Gambrills, Maryland, for Attempt Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance (CDS) – Oxycodone - with the Intent to Distribute, Attempt Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance (CDS) – Oxycodone, and various prescription fraud charges.
On November 15, 2011, at approximately 8:15 a.m., Takoma Park Police responded to the 1300 block of University Boulevard (Walgreens) for the report of an individual attempting to use forged prescriptions to obtain a large amount of narcotics. Investigation revealed that Webb was attempting to obtain the narcotics with the intent to sell them.
Webb was transported to the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit pending a hearing before the Commissioner.
