On November 17, 2011, at approximately 9:35 a.m., a theft from auto occurred in the 6300 block of New Hampshire Avenue (Sunoco Gas Station). The victim pulled up to the station and exited her vehicle to pump gas. A light green 4-door Toyota (possibly an Avalon), with a large dent in the right front fender, pulled up next to her and the driver got out of the Toyota and entered the passenger side of the victim’s vehicle and took property. The suspect vehicle was last seen on video surveillance exiting the gas station heading southbound towards the District of Columbia. The vehicle had a rear temporary tag of an unknown state.
