Montgomery County Police will be holding a Media Conference to announce their suspect in custody for three incidents of kidnapping and robbery in Wheaton, Maryland, November 30, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. The media conference will be held at the Montgomery County Police Headquarters, 2350 Research Boulevard, Rockville, Maryland.
Assistant Chief Hamill will announce that a suspect is in custody for the three incidents of kidnapping and robbery that occurred in Wheaton on November 23, November 26, and November 27. Yesterday, Montgomery County Police obtained a warrant for Henry Levi Sanders, age 50, of the 3500 block of Brightseat Road, Landover, Maryland, charging him with multiple counts of kidnapping and robbery. Sanders is in police custody on the strength of an arrest warrant. During the press conference today, Assistant Chief Hamill will outline developments in this investigation that ultimately led to the arrest of Sanders. State’s Attorney John McCarthy will also be attending the press conference.
