Chief Ronald A. Ricucci of the Takoma Park Police Department announces the arrest of Jose L. Flores, 31, of Riverdale, Maryland, for concealing a deadly weapon.
On December 10, 2011, at approximately 8:30 p.m., Takoma Park Police responded to the 900 block of University Boulevard, Takoma Park, Maryland (Tijuana’s Café), for the report of a male subject with a machete under his jacket. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the subject, later identified as Flores. During a search incident to arrest officers found a machete in Flores’ possession. After a struggle and resisting arrest, Flores was taken into custody.
Flores was arrested and charged accordingly. He was transported to the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit.
